Art is a vision of world through a kaleidoscope. An artist is a person who perceives the word though an artistic prism, who reveals the beauty of nature and transmits to the audience through her/his work. Art was always part of my life. Since I was a little girl, I loved painting. I was painting anywhere and everywhere. My passion of painting on a canvas suddenly transformed to painting on the walls, fence, house, pavement and even my father’s car. Thankfully, my parents we able to recognize my creative side and they helped me get into an art school. In 2008 I graduated Russian Art school with high honors. My dream was to become an architect, but life does not always go the way we want it to go. In 2012, I immigrated to the United States where I revealed a new world: the world of makeup. I remember walking into Sephora for the first time. I was mesmerized by the variety of products and brands. That day my love of makeup was born. I am a self-taught makeup artist. The majority of knowledge about makeup I have I acquired from watching YouTube tutorials and practicing on myself or my friends. Since 2014, I have been working in the beauty world. The beauty industry is very dynamic and fast growing. I always try to be up to date with new techniques and products. I frequently attend in-person or online professional makeup artist master classes for the professional growth. I might be biased because of where I grew up, but I especially prefer to take master classes from European makeup gurus.

“Makeup should never be used to hide yourself. It should be used to enhance your natural beauty.” -Kira Carl.

Mostly, I work with brides, bridal crews, and prom ladies. The makeup looks that I offer range from simple, soft glam, to full coverage smoky eye. I also love to work with colors and I always excited to experiment with different looks. My biggest pet peeves is a “cake face,” that is why I heavily focus on keeping skin as natural as possible, but at the same time flawless. I am a huge advocate of skincare because beauty begins from a glowing skin!

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar

I drink apple cider vinegar first thing in the morning. I put one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water and drink it 30 min-1 hour before a breakfast.  It contains acetic acid, amino acids and antioxidants. Also, acetic acid kills harmful bacteria in the body. Multiple researches have shown that apple cider vinegar can improve insulin sensitivity and help lower blood sugar. It also promotes weight loss. How? It suppresses your appetite and makes you feel fuller during the day. Apple cider vinegar is naturally acidic and contains antimicrobial properties. This means it can help improve the skin barrier and prevent infection.

  • Probiotic supplements

Since our food industry is far from being perfect we need to take some supplements to promote healthy vitamin balance in our body. I take prebiotic pills 60 Billion CFUs. Probiotics help with gut health and vaginal health for women. According to Harvard Medical school probiotics have been seen in the treatment or prevention of:

  • diarrhea
  • irritable bowel syndrome
