We will be going LIVE on INSTAGRAM with Jenn on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 6 PM! Join us as Jenn talks about what’s in her kit and tells us about all her favorite products!
Jennifer has been working in the makeup industry for ten years, but her passion for makeup began as a teenager. After many years of practice, her first paid job was doing makeup for a friend’s wedding in 2010. Fast forward ten years later, Jennifer has become well established in the industry through simple word of mouth referrals. She has done makeup for countless photo shoots, weddings, and proms. Jennifer’s work has been published in the Hampton’s WellWed Magazine in 2013 as well as being featured in the ‘Glittery Bride’ blog.
Jennifer believes makeup is truly an art form, as well as a science. Her belief is that makeup application technique should cater to face shape, eye shape, and bone structure in order to achieve a client’s optimal result. Her skills and knowledge come from studying the work of the late Kevyn Aucoin, YouTube sensation Kandee Johnson, and the Emmy award-winning artist Kevin James Bennett. Jennifer attends the International Makeup Artist Trade Show in New York City every year to ensure she stays current on trends, techniques, and products.
Jennifer also works as a registered nurse in the cardiac intensive care unit. On her days off from the hospital and makeup artistry, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her animals. Jennifer’s love of animals has spilled into her love of makeup and she is currently in the process of phasing in all cruelty free products for her personal and professional makeup kits. Jennifer is proud to share her professional kit will be fully curated of ‘cruelty free’ products by the end of 2020. Her favorite daily “go-to” beauty brands include products by Hourglass, Tarte, and Urban Decay.
