What’s In Your Bag? | CT Wedding Hair and Makeup

Happy Thanksgiving Eve Wedding Wednesday! Tis the season for fabulous things! Sparkles, glitter, velvet, oh my! With that, here is the second post in our series of “What’s in your bag” courtesy of our artist’s expert kits! This week we dig around Ashley’s bag with her and try to decide (for time’s sake) what her three favorite go-to products are. Like most of our makeup artists, Ashley has a kit that would make most regular Ulta shoppers jealous. While it was hard for her to narrow down the list of favorites, but we did it. Take out your notepads, some great gift ideas are to follow!

Without further ado, let’s dive in! This weeks bag is Ashley!

CT Wedding Hair and Makeup Artist Ashley

First and foremost, she is a big fan of Water Balm by Sonia Roselli. This magic elixir keeps your skin moisturized for hours all while hiding fine lines and creases. This can be used in the morning or at night. Or both! With a light rose fragrance-it is impossible to overdo. This is a great product to have on hand (and in your purse).

I love this stuff because priming and prepping the skin prior to makeup is so important!

Next up, Ashley swears by the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector. It is an incredibly versatile pressed highlighter. This highlighter is like high beams for your skin. Creamy feel, applies like silk and never cakes? Sign us up! Who doesn’t need a little strobe light effect on their face every now and then? Fabulous x 10! Grab yourself some holiday cheer-now is the time to snag this product-with the seasonal sale at Ulta and Sephora!

It looks good on numerous skin tone and always gives that extrag flow or highlight to face or eyes!

Lastly,  it may be surprising, but it is a must-have in her bag. Jao Refresher ‘not just for hands’ sanitizer. This is not your average sanitizer. It is made with a unique blend of essential oils that disinfect and instantly kill bacteria while leaving a refreshing aromatherapeutic boost of sage and lavender. You can pick yours up at Anthropologie.

I love this stuff. Sanitation is key to makeup application. Jao Refresher kills germs and doesn’t have an overwhelming alcohol smell like other sanitizers, but rather is a refreshing light aroma that doesn’t dry your hands either. A must have.
